Users of hardware cryptocurrency wallet Ledger can now swap assets following integration of Changelly’s API into the Ledger Live interface.
The new addition to Ledger Live, which supports more than 27 coins and 1,500 tokens, lets users instantly swap around 50 cryptocurrencies.
Changelly’s API allows cryptocurrency swaps at fixed exchange rates. This means that users will not lose out to the volatile nature of digital assets.
Changelly CEO Eric Benz revealed how the partnership with Ledger was mutually beneficial and that it will strengthen Ledger’s position in the hardware wallet market.

“I couldn’t be more excited to announce this collaboration with Ledger.” He said. “From now on, Ledger device owners would be provided with a reliable swapping solution and additionally protected from the market fluctuation with a fixed rate mechanism.
“No doubt, this option will only strengthen the Ledger’s leading position on the hardware device’s market.”
Pascal Gauthier, Ledger CEO, added: “The integration with Changelly creates a one-stop shop experience for Ledger users, allowing them to do everything in one app, Ledger Live. It brings not only the unprecedented level of customer experience when it comes to managing the crypto assets, but also the high level of security that Ledger has been bringing to the market for the past several years.”
